    Day 1: Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport- Darjeeling

    On your arrival at Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you meet our representative who transfers you to Darjeeling. As you reach Darjeeling check-in at a hotel and relax. The day is to be spent at leisure. Partake in the activities of your interest or spend the day in the comforts of your room. Darjeeling is a town in West Bengal state of India, acclaimed for its tea gardens and Himalayan Train (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The town is also one of the biggest tea growing areas of the world. Stay overnight in the hotel.

    Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

    At 4:00 am, head to Tiger Hill before sunrise for a magnificent view of the sunrise and Mount Kanchenjunga (third highest peak of the world). Hold hands in hands and enjoy the sight of the yellow Sun rising from behind the lush mountains. After this, visit Ghoom Monastery (embellished with a 15-feet-high statue of Maitreya Buddha. This is the largest of the three monasteries in Ghoom) and Batasia Loop (spiral railway track, commissioned in 1919). Later, relax and have breakfast. Continue your journey and proceed to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (where you can witness Tibetan art at its best), P.N Zoological Park, Tea Garden and Japanese Temple. In the evening you are free for shopping or other leisure activities.

    Overnight stay in the hotel.

    Day 3: Darjeeling- Mirik- Darjeeling

    Munch in scrumptious breakfast and prepare yourself for Mirik. This is a two-hour-long journey, which takes you through Indo-Nepal Border. Mirik is a serene town popular for its Sumendu Lake. Here, the nature and climate serves you with rejuvenating breeze and soothing view. You can indulge in boating in the lake or visit the refreshing cardamom and tea plantations. Take a stroll here while whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears. Return to the hotel by late evening and stay overnight.

    Day 4: Darjeeling- Gangtok

    After hearty breakfast proceed to Gangtok, the largest town of Sikkim. Distance between the two is 105 km, which takes about four hours to cover. Not only a popular tourist destination of North-east, Gangtok is also a revered Buddhist pilgrimage spot, especially because of Enchey Monastery. Also, Gangtok served as a major stopover on the trade route between Lhasa and Tibet. Several monasteries, centers of Tibetology and religious educational institutions make it a centre of Buddhist culture and learning. As you reach Gangtok, you check-in at your hotel room and relax. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in hotel.

    Day 5: Gangtok Sightseeing

    The 5th day of the itinerary is a busy one. It begins with the visit to Tashi View Point, where you can unwind for a while and savor the enlightening view of the town. Afterwards, proceed to Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok (Hindu Temples located at a high altitude), Cottage Industry, Dro-Dul Chorten (a stupa built in 1945 but he head of Tibetan Buddhism), Banjakhri Falls (100-foot-long waterfall surrounded by lush greenery), Ranka Monastery (a newly built monastery; an ideal place for peace-lovers and photographers), Flower Show (a colorful exhibition of rare and exotic species of flower) and Handicraft Centre.

    Stay overnight in the hotel.

    Day 6: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

    Have breakfast and proceed to a trip to Tsomgo Lake (Glacial Lake located at an elevation of 3780 meter, near the Indo-China border) and Baba Mandir (a temple dedicated to an Indian Soldier who sacrificed his life near Nathula Pass) at a distance of about 55 km from the city. When at Tsomgo Lake, have a leisure walk with each other and enjoy the nice romantic surroundings. If this excursion is blocked by any natural barriers then other alternatives are; Temi Tea Garden (that produces top-quality tea leaves that are demanded in international market) and Chardham (a Hindu pilgrimage spot. Devotees come here with a belief that if they offer prayers here, their sins get washed away).

    Return to the room for overnight stay.

    Day 7: Departure

    After breakfast, check out form the hotel and get timely transfer to the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
