North India Yoga and Meditation Tour (11 Days / 10 Nights)

Destinations: Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Delhi – Dehradun-Nardendra Nagar (Ananda) – Dehradun – Delhi

  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

    On your arrival in Delhi, meet our IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for your leisure activities- interact with the locals, gorge on street food, shop at the local market, explore the surroundings on foot. Stay overnight.

    Day 2: Delhi

    Day 2 after breakfast is for sightseeing in the capital city of India. During the tour of the city you cover the major tourist attractions including Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Raj Ghat. Post lunch attractions include Qutub Minar complex, Humayun’s tomb, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, and the Birla Temple. Stay overnight.

    Day 3: Delhi- Agra

    In the morning, get on-time transfer to the railway station to board a flight to Agra. On arrival, check-in your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for a city tour covering Itmad -ud –Daulah’s tomb- a Mughal mausoleum often known as Baby Taj and the Agra Fort- erected in 1565 by Mughal Emperor Akbar, an architectural masterpiece. Later, calm your tired senses during a Yoga session at your hotel. Afterwards, visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. It is a white-marble mausoleum erected by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight in Agra.

    Day 4: Agra -Jaipur

    Early morning on day 4, you have three options to indulge in- relax in your room, re-visit Taj Mahal or visit to Mehtab Bagh. Back to the hotel to attend a Yoga session. Have a late breakfast and hit the road to Jaipur- the Pink City. En-route halt at the old deserted Mughal capital- Fatehpur Sikri. Once inside, explore its structural elements such as Jodha Bai Palace, Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid, Salim Chishti tomb, Diwan-I-Khas etc. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Step out of your room to explore the popular local bazaars of Jaipur where you can shop for some amazing handicrafts, gemstones, imitation jewelry, clothes etc. Stay overnight.

    Day 5: Jaipur

    In the morning, attend a relaxing Yoga session. Have breakfast and leave for exploring the well-known tourist attractions of Jaipur. First of all, leave for an excursion to the Amber Fort, situated on a hilltop. To go up to the entrance of the fort, you enjoy an elephant ride. Later, you visit the other popular attractions too, including the City Palace – a magnificent structure that is a perfect mix of Rajput, Mughal and European architectural senses, Jantar Mantar- the royal astronomical observatory, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of the Wind) – a beautiful palace that is a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. The evening is scheduled for a cultural show. Stay overnight.

    Day 6: Jaipur- Delhi –Dehradun (by air) – Ananda Spa Resort (Narendra Nagar-by road)

    In the morning, on day 6, board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, board a flight to Dehradun. Upon arrival, hit the road to Narendra Nagar. Afternoon arrival at the Ananda Spa Resort. The next three days are for rejuvenating your tired mind, body and soul. Voted as World’s number 1 Spa destination, it is going to offer you a plethora of services that instill new energy in you. Every session is headed by an expert instructor. The meals that are served are highly nutritious. You enjoy Hydrotherapy facilities like Sauna, Steam and Jacuzzi. Other activities include Yoga and meditation session, Nature walks, treks, Vedanta lectures, Beauty treatments and Cooking demonstrations. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the resort or interact with the resident medical experts etc. Stay overnight.

    Day 7: Ananda

    4.00 pm- Fitness class

    5.00 pm -Ananda Sadhana and guided meditation

    5.15 pm- Ananda rejuvenation cuisine demo/Ayurveda lecture

    Get on-time transfer to the Dehradun airport to board a flight to Delhi. On arrival, embark on your second day of the city tour. If you want you can also indulge in last minute shopping at the well-known markets. Later get transferred to the airport.

    Day 11: Departure from Delhi

    Board a flight for your onward destination.
